LIBERTY CAFÉ
The Liberty Café primarily welcomes guests arriving after visiting the Bastion of Freedom exhibition, focusing on signature desserts inspired by Hungarian confectionery traditions and the spirit of the location. The selection ranges from the walnut-foam Kossuth kifli and the Gerbeaud-inspired “Ágyúgolyó” to the creamy Szabadság slice with rum-infused sour cherries. Guests can also enjoy specialties such as the Dubai chocolate slice, velvety raspberry mousse, or a vegan salted caramel–peanut slice.
Those looking for something more substantial can choose from artisan sandwiches made with sourdough bread, including the crispy bacon Citadella Croque, Mediterranean tuna cream, or a fresh vegan option. The offer is completed by warm grilled paninis, crispy sausages, and homemade cheese pogácsa.
For refreshments, guests can select from coffeehouse classics such as a Flat White or Café Latte, as well as loose-leaf teas and homemade lemonades. The drinks menu also features signature items like the Liberty Spritz made with Tokaji Aszú, cocktails based on Historia Gin, alongside wines from renowned Hungarian wineries and Budapest Beer craft lager.
